Introduction

With the new regulation (GDPR) coming into effect on May 25, Sintel is strengthening its personal data protection policy so that the data of our users are collected and used in a transparent, confidential, and secure manner.

What personal data is collected?

The personal information generally collected by Sintel’s website includes details necessary for the submission of your application, such as:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Title
  • Place of residence (city)

We may also ask you for:

  • Your email address to use this data for account creation, sending information emails and notifications, as well as for the newsletter.

We also collect:

  • Your username

We will also ask you to optionally provide a mini CV or a CV.

And your data through a LinkedIn connection:

As part of our recruitment activities (temporary, fixed-term, and permanent contracts), Sintel requires all this data to contact you and potentially initiate a future interview appointment.

As long as you have not undertaken any mission on behalf of our company, your data is retained for a maximum of 2 years after the last modification of your application file. This modification could correspond to an interview, an exchange with our recruiters, an update of your file, or your access to your account.
